Here is your homework for this session:
ISBN RESEARCH (40-60 mins MAX)
Research them.Purchase them.Buy as many as you PLAN (or WANT) to need in the future.
BOOK COVER (at LEAST 60 mins)
Research them (specific to your SINGLE genre for your most immediate project).Screenshot/save what you like or anything that inspires you. Add to your Research Archive file.Start to brainstorm and sketch out what you like.Get LAAAAAAAAAAAARGE pieces of paper.Take up the entire page with your ideas!!! Have FUN with this!
RESEARCH BOOKS!!! (90 mins to 2 hours!!!)
Go to a library or bookstore.Check online and study your genre of books. Take note of:Price.Page count.Layouts.Colors.Category. (This’ll confuse ya! It’s meant to!)CoversFrontBackSpine
MARKETING (30 mins, at least, but no more than an hour)
Come up with a marketing plan for your book!How many books do ya wanna sell!?!?How will you do it?Where will you do it?
BONUS
Finalize who will help you edit.Research and secure Grammarly (You need it!!!).
