It’s no secret Facebook has been trying to explore ways to increase revenue for its shareholders. When Facebook announced it was charging $100 to message Mark Zuckerberg , I posted an online prediction regular Joe’s would also pay to message strangers soon.
That day has come. Facebook has begun testing a pay-to-message feature, that will require strangers pay from $1 to $15 to message someone. It is being testing in several countries, but I found one right here in America; Nashville, TN to be exact. I know Facebook has to find a way to please its shareholders, but are they not concerned with the masses going through other venues to contact someone?
I understand what they rely on is the exuberant amount of information they have collected and pride themselves in being a one stop shop, but the internet easily allow for work arounds. I went to the Facebook page of this person and found their Twitter address, which was active. Contacted them within moments, free.
Have you encountered any accounts requesting you pay to play?
