Background
Tell us a little about your background starting from your childhood.
I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida by my parents, Victor and Phyllis Bradley. I am the middle child of five children, I have three sisters and one brother. I was fortunate enough to have both parents in the house and some days not so fortunate. When I look back at my adolescent years I can see that I lived a comfortable life. I also lived with my grandmother for several years as a child. Back then all we did was go to school and church. I am what you would call a church kid, which means I’ve been in church all my life. I would have to say I met some of my first friends at church, and most of them are still my friends. I spent a lot of time at church as a young girl, whether it was for choir practice, dance rehearsal or just a weeknight service. In my younger years I didn’t really understanding the significance of church, I saw it as time to spend socializing with my friends. It was not until I was older and life began to have its way with me that I realized I needed to have a personal relationship with God. I was grateful for the prayers of my mother and my grandmother but I knew they would not sustain me forever. Fast forward to adulthood, I currently work in the medical field as a Clinic Office Manager. I have work for this particular hospital for six years now and I’ve learned so much. I have had the privilege of meeting so many people throughout my years there. It also has taught me the importance of relationships in the workplace. Sometimes your experience will in fact get you the job, but I have seen that having the right relationships can get you the job as well.
Give us an idea of where you currently are in life and the paths you took to get here.
I am in a season of transition in every area of my life. Through much prayer and reading my word I believe God will say the perfect pass before me.

Why did you decide to become a Make Up Artist?
I decided to dive into etiquette after seeing several young ladies act in appropriately in public. When I lived with my grandmother, there were certain things she would remind me what young women don’t do and or do. She would tell me not to slouch, she would remind me to keep my elbows off the table. She often had to remind me to use my inside voice lol. I realized later that my grandmother helped shape me into the woman I am today.
Do you remember your first day/gig? How was it?
Wow, my first gig was with my sister and it was unpaid. I was nervous and excited at the same time because I knew she would at least tell me the truth if she didn’t like what I had done.
What’s the best part of your job?
Meeting new people and helping them feel good about themselves
What is the worst?
Sometimes I’m standing for several hours at a time
